SensorTran DTS Enterprise IS
As DTS technology rapidly gains in popularity, it is becoming increasingly important to ensure that temperature data can be accessed, viewed, stored, and shared in both enterprise and non-enterprise environments. In response to this need, we offer the SensorTran DTS Enterprise IS (Information System) software suite.
The SensorTran DTS Enterprise IS suite consists of three applications that are designed and developed to address very distinct areas of business need.
SensorTran DTS Commander
SensorTran DTS Commander is installed on all SensorTran DTS systems It represents the latest version of and replacement for DTS Manager.
SensorTran DTS Commander is the primary application you will need to set up, configure, calibrate, and manage your DTS deployment on a day-to-day basis. This application comes with the ability to run OTDR and Temperature Trace data in a standard graphical view, to set alarms and warnings, to define zones, and to manage restart capabilities and self-diagnostic tools. Additionally, SensorTran DTS Commander includes a simple dashboard that adds historical data playback functionality for standard temperature traces, and previews the interface that we offer in the SensorTran AssetViewer.
SensorTran AssetViewer
The SensorTran AssetViewer is a breakthrough in DTS analysis tools, offering the ability to view temperature data mapped against the actual asset being monitored. We have already developed a library of asset visualizations and will be adding to that library progressively over time.
Existing asset visualizations include:
• Downhole wells and reservoirs
• Transmission power cables
• Distribution power cables
• Pipelines
• Storage Tanks
• Process Vessels
In addition to visualizations, the SensorTran AssetViewer includes a modular, fully customizable interface with drag & drop management, as well as extensive analysis tools including thresholding, standard deviation analysis, averaging, etc.
For integrators and other partners, we also offer the optional SensorTran AssetViewer Developer’s Kit, which provides libraries and APIs to customize the AssetViewer interface for specific customer implementation needs.
SensorTran DataWarehouse
The SensorTran DataWarehouse is a key product in readying DTS usage for enterprise environments. It enables sharing of DTS data across the enterprise utilizing a “hub & spoke” model, which is a common implementation approach for data warehouses in the information technology world.
The SensorTran DataWarehouse provides a solution for running multiple DTS systems concurrently, sharing that data back via a centralized data store, and controlling access to that data via client-side installations of the SensorTran AssetViewer.
