Gemini™
The Gemini™ platform marries SensorTran’s second generation PerfectVision™ technology with several other proprietary innovations to create the world’s most powerful Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) system. Gemini™ has a streamlined architecture that features two-1U modules – the first housing the data acquisition and processing functions, the second containing the lasers and optics. Each of the modules can be upgraded to increase measurement speed, laser intensity (optical budget), or both. The Gemini family includes both single mode and multimode systems and the systems have an accuracy of +/- 0.5°C.
Data Acquisition & Optics Modules (19" Rackmount)
Gemini’s™ performance is determined by the selected combination of the
data acquisition and processing module and the
lasers and optics module. Upgrading the data acquisition module improves measurement times, and upgrading the optics module increases the optical budget - which improves temperature resolution at longer ranges. All Gemini™ modules are fully interchangeable - allowing Instant Onsite Upgrades to adjust performance as required, even after installation. Power is supplied to both units through the data acquisition module which can run on either AC or DC power (100V to 240V at 50Hz to 60Hz AC or 24V DC). Each Gemini™ system comes pre-loaded with SensorTran’s DTS Commander™ software that provides for configuration, calibration, communication, alarm, autonomous operation and basic display functions. Optional data visualization software, SensorTran’s AssetViewer™ is also available.
