Software Developer

Responsibilities
• Design and Implement software based on software specifications to support existing product enhancements and new product development.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and fix defects in existing software applications.
• Work with QA testers to develop comprehensive test procedures.
• Directly support customers with configuring and troubleshooting existing software installations.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the product line to allow participation in decisions concerning future software designs and feature enhancements.
• Support technical writers with the development of software documentation including user manuals, installations guides, etc.
• Support production staff to insure that software is properly installed and configured during manufacturing.
Required Skills and Experience
• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience.
• B.S. degree in a technical field (engineering, CS, etc.).
• Ability to write and debug software code independently and without close supervision.
• Highly proficient coding in both C/C++ and C#.
• Expert at troubleshooting / debugging software problems related to threading, memory leak / corruption, and logic errors on the windows platform.
• Excellent multi-threaded software design / development / debugging skills on the windows platform.
• Experience implementing mathematical / numerical algorithms.
• Experience working with MFC and .Net platform libraries.
• Familiar with windows user interface implementation using MFC and / or .Net Forms.
